A Legacy Of More Than A Century

1912

In 1912 Mr. Syed Yaqub Ali founded General Engineering in Delhi, India

1915

General Engineering used to manufacture cart springs, locomotive pistons and precision parts in Delhi, India

1947

In 1947 after partition between India & Pakistan Mr. Syed Yaqub Ali came to Pakistan & founded Universal Engineering

1948

Universal Engineering used to manufacture various parts related to the automobile industry

1956

In 1956 Mr. Syed Yaqub Ali & Mr. R.D Minwala founded ALLWIN Engineering Industries

1958

Allwin Engineering Industries

1963

ALLWIN started manufacturing radiators

1974

In 1974 Mr. Syed Asif Ali founded Landhi Engineering Works (Pvt) Ltd

1976

In 1976 Landhi Engineering Works (Pvt) Ltd started manufacturing leaf springs for the automobile industry

1981

In 1981 Mr. R.D. Minwala founded Thermax Pakistan

1982

Mr.Syed Asif Ali was one of the founding members of Agriauto Industries

1994

In 1994 LEW started manufacturing Copper Brass Radiators

2004

In 2004 LEW introduced most advanced 3G Radiators technology in the market

2016

In 2016 LEW Exported its first consignment of suspension parts to Poland

2018

In 2018 LEW Exported its container load of suspension parts to Hungary

2019

In 2019 LEW Exported its container load of suspension parts to Germany

2020

In 2020 LEW relaunched the heavy duty trailer market project and established company’s own sales outlet in Mauripur, Karachi

2023

MD LEW & MD PSML officially inaugurated company’s second sales outlet in Turnol, Rawalpindi, Pakistan

2024

LEW did a joint venture with PSML and entered the UAE auto parts market and successfully carried out half a million dollars of export in one fiscal year
